Brionvega: A Dialogue between Italian Aesthetics and Acoustics in Time and Space
Brionvega, a design legend originating from Milan, Italy, has crossed the boundaries of time and space with its unique design philosophy and precise capture of futuristic sense, injecting a timeless artistic flavor into the modern home. On the Design Shanghai stage, Brionvega will debut with its star products Radiofonografo RR226 and Totem. The red, blue and silver versions of the Totem speakers, which will be unveiled for the first time in China, are not only an audacious attempt at color, but also the brand's deep understanding of the perfect fusion of home décor and sound experience. They not only embody technological innovation, but also demonstrate the essence of Italian design, transforming everyday electronic devices into home décor items with high aesthetic value.
TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist.:A Musical Chapter for Soloists
Neither “sculpture” nor “sound” can accurately pinpoint it; it is a melodic messenger that travels through three-dimensional space. Japanese designer Takahiro Miyashita has skillfully integrated the triangular architectural structure of New York's Flatiron Building into the design of this art piece with a unique and fragmented reconstruction method. From the perspective of aesthetic appreciation and artistic design, there seems to be a tacit understanding between designers and architects, and the resonance across generations is sublimated in the fusion of their respective fields. At Design Shanghai, there will also be a 3-meter high, isometric replica of TheSoloist.Sound art installation for viewing, with every detail magnified and every angle presenting a breathtaking visual effect.
IF Nebula: Interstellar Traveling in Notes
IF AUDIO STUDIO, in collaboration with California-based BOLTBOLT, drew inspiration from NASA's Space Shuttle program, and Nebula was born. As the winner of the 2024 IF Design Award, Nebula combines cutting-edge audio technology with a futuristic design language, making it the ultimate interpretation of sound aesthetics. For the first time, Design Shanghai will unveil its mystery, allowing its sound to travel across the infinite stars, making the listener feel as if he or she is in the vastness of the universe, and feeling the echoes among the stars.
Devialet: Devialet Eternal Flower Installation
A white garden of eternal flowers will rise in the center of the pavilion, a mysterious unknown world that will attract all passers-by to stop, think and finally decide to find out what it is all about. The constantly pulsating values on the battery panel, the dim light emanating from each flower, and the jewel-like Diwali sound like the topmost stone on the scepter - whether their relationship is one of cooperation and symbiosis, or one of demand and supply, we do not know. But when light and music become one, the sound and light intertwine, and an experience that is only about one's own emotions has quietly begun.
